Easy to install. I'm 72, You youngsters may have harder time.Sound is great.Looks are very pleasing.Sony Under-Cabinet Kitchen ICF-CDK70 CD Changer/Clock Radio (Silver)
INSTRUCTIONS SAY REQUIRES TWO PEOPLE TO INSTALL, I DID IT ALONE, IF I CAN, ANYONE CAN. THIS IS A GREAT PIECE OF EQUIPMENT. INSTALATION IS VERY EASY.IT COMES WITH ITS OWN TEMPLATE WITH THE HOLES ALREADY PUNCHED, JUST MARK AND DRILL. SOUND, REMOTE, EVERYTHING IS GREAT QUALITY. PRICE WAS BEST I COULD FIND.
We had previously purchased an under-the-cabinet radio/cd player but the first week the cd door wouldn't open. It has been a good purchase. I thought I had broken it, but after reading other reviews of the same model, I found out that it was a defect and I didn't break it. I researched other brands, and found better reviews of this model. We get many more channels on the radio and the cd player has not had any problems opening. The sound is excellent and we are very happy with it.
We dropped it off at the Salvation Army (maybe they can fix it) and ordered the Sony from Amazon. We had purchased an Emerson CD player locally. It played three (3) CDs (except that after a few weeks one of the three quit working). We're real pleased with its performance as it has already outlasted the Emerson. Sound quality for CD and radio are excellent.
I was not sure about ordering a refurbished model but am very happy. It is in perfect condition.
